Upon completion of this conference, participants will be able to:

1. Apply current ACGME requirements and national policy updates to fellowship program operations and accreditation.
2. Implement systemic and structural approaches to program-level wellness and intentionally cultivate resilience in trainees.
3. Identify struggling fellows early and implement evidence-based interventions that support their success.
4. Improve fairness in recruitment by applying Z-score standardization to interview scoring and lessons learned from preference signaling.
5. Develop strategies for procedural supervision and bedside teaching that balance patient safety, efficient teaching, and trainee autonomy.
6. Translate teaching experiences and innovations into scholarship using novel medical education publication formats.
7. Appraise recent medical education literature and evidence linking training environments to physician outcomes to inform program improvement.
8. Use social media and AI tools to strengthen fellowship program visibility and communication.
9. Engage with communities of practice (community-based, interventional pulmonology, critical care medicine, and subspecialty programs) to share best practices and build collaborative solutions.

No refunds will be given after February 1, 2027.

Attendees who need to cancel their registration must do so by emailing [email protected].

• A full refund will be given through January 1, 2027.
• For cancellations made between January 2-31, 2027, an administrative fee of $125 will be charged.
• No refunds will be provided after February 1, 2027, at which time APCCMPD has guaranteed attendance and meal requirements with the conference venue. 
• NOTE: If an attendee does not cancel prior to the start of the conference and does not attend, the attendee is still responsible for payment.
