ASSISTANT PROFESSOR FACULTY POSITION

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at MUSC is recruiting for a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor to serve as part of our Interventional Pulmonology team. This position will dedicate 40-50% of time toward performing pulmonary procedures and assist in developing and overseeing MUSC’s interventional pulmonary fellowship program. Opportunity to participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient pulmonary/critical care, and clinical research is also available and to be determined based on the candidate’s background and interests. 

The ideal candidate will be board certified/board eligible in interventional pulmonology through the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and have a passion to help grow interventional pulmonary services at MUSC. The candidate will be expected to participate in ongoing research trials which include technology assessment of procedures related to interventional pulmonology. Interest and experience in research, including clinical trials or comparative effectiveness trials is preferred. The candidate will be supported by the division’s current team of highly regarded interventional pulmonologists.
